Day 1: Dar es Salaam → Nyerere National Park (Selous)
Pick up from Dar es Salaam (hotel/airport) in the morning.
Drive (6–7 hrs) or fly (1 hr) to Nyerere National Park.
Check in at your mid-range safari camp/lodge.
Afternoon boat safari along the Rufiji River or a short evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Nyerere (Selous) lodge/camp.
Day 2: Full Day in Nyerere National Park
Early morning game drive in search of elephants, lions, wild dogs, and giraffes.
Return for breakfast and short rest.
Afternoon: boat safari or game drive across the floodplains and river channels.
Dinner and overnight at Nyerere lodge/camp.
Day 3: Nyerere → Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, transfer by light aircraft (recommended) or long road drive to Ruaha.
Arrive, check in at lodge/camp, and enjoy lunch.
Evening game drive inside Ruaha, famous for large elephant herds, lions, and pristine landscapes.
Dinner and overnight at Ruaha lodge/camp.
Day 4: Full Day in Ruaha National Park
Full-day game drives with picnic lunch, exploring Ruaha’s rugged wilderness.
Search for elephants, kudus, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species.
Dinner and overnight at Ruaha lodge/camp.
Day 5: Ruaha → Dar es Salaam
Morning game drive or bush walk (if available).
Breakfast at the lodge.
Transfer to airstrip/drive back to Dar es Salaam.
End of safari.
