These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Zaraninge Nature Safaris Ltd . By confirming a booking, clients acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms:
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a 20% non-refundable deposit of the total safari cost.
The balance (80%) must be settled no later than 45 days before the start of the safari.
Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.
Payments must be made in USD (unless otherwise agreed) via bank transfer or other approved methods.
Cancellation by the Client must be received in writing and is subject to the following charges:
More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit only.
59–30 days before departure: 50% of safari cost.
29–15 days before departure: 75% of safari cost.
14 days or less before departure / no-show: 100% of safari cost.
Cancellation by the Company: In the unlikely event that we must cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of monies paid, minus any irrecoverable third-party costs.
Requests to amend bookings will be accommodated where possible but may be subject to additional costs (e.g., airline change fees, hotel charges).
The company reserves the right to charge an administration fee for amendments.
Prices quoted are per person sharing and generally include: accommodation, meals as specified, park entry fees, game drives, professional guide services, and transfers as detailed in your itinerary.
Prices exclude: international flights, visa fees, personal expenses, travel/medical insurance, tips, drinks, laundry, and any optional activities not specified.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice due to increases in park fees, government taxes, or supplier charges beyond our control.
Children are welcome on safari under the following conditions:
Children under 2 years: Free of charge (sharing with parents, no separate bed).
Children aged 3–11 years: 50% of the adult rate when sharing a room with two adults.
Children aged 12–14 years: 75% of the adult rate when sharing with two adults.
Children aged 15 years and above: Charged at the full adult rate.
Some lodges and camps may have specific age restrictions for safety reasons (e.g., walking safaris, boat excursions, or tented camps). These will be communicated at the time of booking.
Parents/guardians are fully responsible for the supervision and safety of their children throughout the safari.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and any other required travel documents.
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance are strongly recommended to cover cancellations, medical expenses, evacuation, and loss of property.
Safaris involve travel in remote areas with wild animals. Clients participate at their own risk.
The Company and its staff will take all reasonable precautions for your safety, but we can not be held liable for injury, illness, or loss during the safari.
The company acts only as an agent in arranging accommodation, transport, and other services and can not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by third parties.
We are not responsible for events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or flight disruptions.
Any dissatisfaction must be reported immediately to the guide or lodge manager so it can be addressed on the spot.
Complaints not resolved during the safari must be submitted in writing within 14 days of your return.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any disputes shall be resolved under Tanzanian jurisdiction.
